Schedules/Registration

Counselors are out of the office (both through phone and e-mail) for the summer. If you have concerns about your schedule you may visit the counseling office during 4th hour the first week of school.

​Schedule requests done through email or voice messaging during the summer or registration week will not be processed.

Congratulations again to our current graduates! We are very proud of all that you have accomplished. We are confident that your achievements will continue and can't wait to hear all about them.

Final Transcripts
If you have not requested your final transcript to be sent to your college, you need to do so ASAP. Go to your Parchment  www.parchment.com and make the request.

If you will be attending a school that you applied to using the Common Application, you need to request the final transcript be sent to Common Application. 

​CLASS OF 2026 TRANSCRIPTS WILL BE READY AND REQUESTS WILL BE SENT AT THE END OF JUNE OR EARLY JULY.

Class of 2027

We know many of you will begin the college application process over the summer. Please make sure to utilize the resources posted on your AHS Class of 2027 Google Classroom that we went over with you at the end of May.

Here are a few timeline tips for the College Application process:
  • Research & Visit colleges (Virtually if necessary)
  • Finalize potential college application list (Reach, Match & Safety )
  • If it’s part of your plan to take the SAT/ACT on a national test date, register on their website and consider sending your score for free when registering.
  • Begin working on essays (if needed)
  • Determine if your college requires letters of recommendation and begin thinking of who you want to ask to write them. 
  • Create accounts for applications and begin working on them after they open for fall (starting Aug 1st)
  • If you are using the Common Application, make sure to assign your recommenders under “Recommenders and FERPA” BEFORE submitting your transcript request through Parchment. If not, you will receive an error message.
  • Create a Parchment account so that you will be ready to send your transcripts (www.parchment.com). If you are requesting your transcript during the summer  select “hold for grades” as the timeline for sending your transcript . By doing this, your transcript will go out automatically when they are released in the fall.
  • Double check your login information for College Board.
  • Check your AP scores in July and then research potential credit awarded at your colleges of interest.
  • Keep all your online college and scholarship account login and passwords in once place. Students find the "notes" section of their phone a good place to store this information.

Welcome to RCS! We look to forward to meeting you.

RCS has moved to an online registration platform. Please click on the following link for more information: https://www.rochester.k12.mi.us/pages/156791/online-registration

Once the student is enrolled, please email Mrs. Pierre in the counseling office ([email protected]) to schedule a new student meeting.

​Counselors will need the most current transcript and reports cards prior to meeting with your student to assist with graduation credit review and proper course placements.

If you need access to RCS Summer Learning Program Information please click here for session dates, link to register and pay, and course listings.

Summer classes can be a good way to recover credit one class at a time or take a class to make room in your schedule for more classes in the regular school year.

Please note:
  • Students cannot take credit to get ahead in Math, English or Science.
  • Online classes will require students to use good time management skills, independence, and discipline.
